November 2008

I feel motivated to write something. I just wanted to say how great a person Brittany is. On our way down to St. George this last weekend we saw a guy with a car full of garbage. I then started to make fun of this guy and say not so nice things like "it looks like this guy is on is way to crazy town" Brittany said how scared she was for this man and how she hoped he was ok. Why when I see a situation do I mock and she loves? I guess it's because my spirit was crushed when hers was lifted.

Anyway, here are some other pictures of our trip. Brittany of course has a zest for life while I prefer to mumble snide remarks under my breath. Also, has anyone heard of boat jousting? Youtube it and you'll be pleased with what you see. I learned about it because of my French class. Who knew you learned things in school.

Hey everyone, it's Brittany now. Wow, married life is so much more fun than I built it up to be in my mind. Clint loves to travel, loves the outdoors, loves easy to cook meals, and t.v. ...... hmm.... I'm starting to think I just picked a good man, because this isn't at all what people told me marriage was about. Clint loves a lot of the things that I love, AND we love each other. How crazy awesome.

I do remember the man with the piles of trash in his car. Of course, I feel many things about such a situation. My first instincts are that having so much trash in your car is not hygenic or healthy. Then when I see this man look around frantically as if a t-rex is running towards his car, I feel sad. Some people honestly have a hard time with basic daily functions, and I remember how good I have it. On a lighter note, I give a sigh of relief having found some place more messy than purse.

.....And Zions National Park was amazing!!!! I was a first timer and I was so content with what I was doing and who I was with. I was happy to hike and just be!

Update, finally

Hey, well I'm the first to admit that I haven't been the best at keeping up on this thing but today is a new day. Just to keep everyone updated, things have been great. The shocking thing about marriage is how much time I don't have anymore. When you are single and depressed all you seem to have is time. Not so with marriage. I can't believe what we've got done and how much my life has improved. Enough of the mushy stuff though. I was a little suprised when Brittany got mad at me for sleeping the wrong way. I guess I learned (or so she says) that I should explain myself before I hurt her feelings. Also, waking someone up in the middle of the night is not a good idea if that person loves sleep so so much.

We finally got a hold of our wedding pictures so here are a few I don't hate.
If anyone has an idea where my camera is, please tell me. It's so sad that I can't find it.

hmmm. I love all the lovely and humorous comments that have been made. Especially all the comments making fun of clint. :DAnyway... I just moved from Logan to Ogden and i'm so happy to be close to clint. :D I am developing a greater love for ogden. I don't know if it can beat the homey feeling I get from Logan, but I really do like it here. :D.... and I know what you're thinking... Can this girl put any more smiley faces on this blog. Well..... I'm not writing an essay so I can do what I want and YOU can choose whether or not to read this happy, rainbow filled blog :D! ....I think Clint is happy I moved to ogden too. He just got that twinkle in his eye when I told him I was moving. You know.. the kind of twinkle you think of a joly santa clause that couldn't hold a grain of evil if he wanted to.I feel that I have more time to spend with clint. Monday we went and visited his family after work and it was really great to meet the rest of his family. He has a really fun family. And his cute little nephew Sam is soooo sooo good at x-box. I couldn't believe it. He is so mini, yet he could probably beat me at any video game.AND the superbowl! Clint and I were so upset that the patriot lost. However, the new york giants make one amazing play and he tries to pull a switch-a-roo. No switching teams once the super bowl game starts! :D

....anyway.. have a good day :D

Bored on a Friday night.

I'm bored on a Friday night so I have decided to post a new blog. I'm writing this without the help of Brittany help which is sort of her fault for leaving me alone on a Friday night. What I find funny is that she doesn't even know the password to log in to OUR blog and change what I say. It gives me great power....but with great power comes great responsibility which I'm guessing I will abuse. I'm sort of mad at myself for actually creating a blog because it would seem like it's just another way for people to say "LOOK AT HOW COOL MY LIFE IS" but I have to admit it is fun to read up on what people are doing. I am also afraid that it's going to suck me in and make me want to post stuff all the time and be on more thing that eats up my timed.

Anyway, here are some pictures of when we went snowshoeing with my evil sister and her puppet husband. Of course we didn't take pictures of them.

First Blog

We are doing a blog together so it should be interesting. So I guess we need to introduce ourselves. I (Clint) like some things and I (Brittany) like more things. Mostly we just like each other. AWWWWW how precious. We work together at Flying J (not the corner gas station) but the corporate head quarters in beautiful Ogden. Ogden is the bestestestest city in Utah and whoever thinks otherwise is retarded (but not special bus retarded, just lacking intelligence).

And now the story about how we met. We met at work and at first we had no idea the other one existed. However, we both worked the dreaded 6:00 a.m. shift and ran in to each other. Brittany's papers went every where and her normal reaction of anger was distracted by the intriguing gentleman standing above her.

Our first date is a better story though. We played Guitar Hero II and it was awesome. Whoever said that nothing good came from video games was incorrect that day. We played until the weehours of the night and it's been great since.

Later that night, we went to an italian restaurant and became so engulfed in talking about our adventures to France that we didn't want to leave. I (brittany) started to get nervous that my slow eating habits would get on my dates nerves. I started to eat faster and talk less. However, Clint was as content there as I was and through his relaxed demeanor I began to talk again. Talk. Talk. Talk. We did this until we realized that there must be an end to this great date.

Anyway, it's been a crazy town thrill ride full of ....stuff and then even more stuff. I hope we get a chance to actually post stuff on this blog because both of us do not own a functioning computer. Brittany was good at taking pictures of us together with a disposable camera at first but then she lost it. That is why pictures with digital cameras are the way to go.
A plus.
